A.C. grew up in Chapel Hill, NC. She always knew that she had the performing bug, and made her stage “debut” in the first grade as Gretel in a short musical skit of the story of Hansel and Gretel. Mainly she just twirled around and held on to her doll, but the experience sparked the beginning of what would become her life’s passion.
From there, A.C. went on to attend numerous theatre and dance camps and sang in various acapella groups. In high school, she appeared in many different productions including South Pacific (Nellie Forbush), The Foreigner (Catherine Simms), and the original rock opera, Etan (Katie) by Nate Weida, just to name a few.
A.C. received her BA in Theatre from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC. While at Meredith, she appeared in such productions as Nine (Carla), Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night (Olivia) and And Then They Came For Me…Remembering the World of Anne Frank (Young Eva) a production which was a Region IV Finalist in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Birmingham, AL, and for which she received an individual Irene Ryan Scholarship in Acting nomination. A.C. also studied in the B.F.A. Acting program at Marymount Manhattan College, where she was a Competitive Merit Scholarship in Acting nominee. In 2013, she completed her MA degree in Liberal Studies from Duke University.
Since embarking on her professional acting and singing career, A.C. has been blessed to appear in numerous theatre productions, as well as voiceovers, original recordings, concerts and short films. She is endlessly grateful to her supportive and amazing family and friends who all continue to help and cheer her on. THANK YOU!!
